Our Winter Retreat, usually takes place in March or April at a beautiful rental home called: Stille Havet, it is located on the North Shore of Lake Superior near Grand Marais, Minnesota. The views of the lake are breathtaking at any time of the day and night. As we take in Gods beauty around us this is a time for relaxation, comfort and learning. Where we can share our hearts with other women in a safe place.
Stille Havet has a lot of room and sleeping space to accommodate about 15 -18 people. At our winter retreat's we do not have the horses with us but do try to incorporate some kind of horsing around if we can. Good food, great surroundings, meeting new friends is the perfect combination for a fun spirit filled weekend. Views from the deck at Stille Havett are beautiful.

Retreat Guest Comment : I look forward to this retreat all year long, not only is the space provided so Beautiful & Cozy in a peace filled location! The women who lead this and the ones attending are of the most genuine, loving, non judgemental kind. I feel its a safe place to share my heart, my burdens, any questions about life, or God without any condemnation... I love how it does'nt have the feel of a classroom rather it is more like I am sitting drinking coffee with my girlfriends, catching up.. reflecting.. sharing our joys and our struggles realizing all the while... we are not in this alone. No matter what stage your walk with Jesus is in it will encourage you to go deeper with him. I Love the music worship and the getaway up the Gunflint Trail with the wonderful Patten Family. From Start to finish these people are the real deal ! and I have grown to Love them all. Mary Meide Anderson
