This year we hosted our winter/spring retreat in April. Our visit on friday night to Camp Okontoe, located up the Gunflint Trail, was wonderful as always spending time with the Patten Family. And of course we had great fellowship, food, singing praise, laughter and sharing.
Stille Havet is a beautiful place its so relaxing and comfortable lots of room to lounge in and you can see Lake Superior out every window.
Reaching Out to the Youth
In late July we loaded up the horse trailer and went to "Seed's of Hope Youth Ranch" near Duluth, Mn. We spent time with the kids and their horses and did a day mini retreat. We learned about the benefits of doing ground work with our horses and did some riding. We spent the afternoon sharing and talking with each other and ended a very hot day with a water fight. Thank you to: Wendy & Russ Krook for letting us spend the day with all the kids.
2012 A Season of Rest
This Summer for me personally, was a time of Change and also rest. My Mother passed away in early July. Life is bitter/sweet when you know God is preparing you for time to say our goodbyes to the one that we all Love so Much. We are so grateful that Mom and Dad have been called home by the Lord.
Silent Night 2012
This year we feel, God has called my husband and I into a new Season together. So as we stand at the crossroads and look. we ask for the ancient paths. Ask where the good way is, and we will find rest for our soul's. Jer 6:16 Many times we want to follow a path of our own choosing which might take our focus off of God. Don't be mislead, the only way to find peace and rest for your soul is study his word and to walk in the ways that he leads.
Winter has arrived at Running Horse Ranch and the beautiful snow is here.
